This book is about expanding perspectives on common aspects of the conflict experience – before, during and after they arise. Reflective questions, some of which use metaphors and plays on words, are designed to expand the quest to become more conflict masterful by making the route there more interesting and positive. Coaches, mediators, HR professionals, lawyers, educators, psychologists and others in the human services will also find the workbook format of Conflict Mastery especially helpful because commentary on each aspect of conflict and the accompanying questions are REPRODUCIBLE to facilitate their use.

CINNIE NOBLE is a lawyer with a Masters of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution. A certified coach and mediator, Cinnie is a pioneer of conflict management coaching – having created the CINERGY® model in 1999. Conflict management coaching (also known as conflict coaching) is a one on one process that helps people in organizational and other contexts strengthen their conflict intelligence and mastery to be able to engage more effectively in their interpersonal conflicts. Cinnie and her associates support the motto Peacebuilding – one person at a time, and coach and train the CINERGY® method worldwide. In addition to coaching, training, and mediating, Cinnie speaks internationally and writes extensively on areas relevant to the fields of coaching and conflict management. She is the author of five books – the most recent one prior to this being Conflict Management Coaching: The CINERGY™ Model (2011). In 1990 Cinnie was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada for her ground-breaking work in the travel industry for people with disabilities. She is also the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal (2002) and Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012).
