Synopsis

This is a biography of a flight instructor with the British Commonwealth Air Training Program.
The book is available only from The Bomber Command Museum of Canada, Box 1051, Nanton, Alberta, Canada, T0L 1R0.
It contains personal narrative and anecdotes from both the subject Allister Gordon Jones (1923-2013), and his wife Linora Jones, as well as stories from children, friends, and relatives. The book also contains a large number of photographs and documents relating to the subject's life in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Following the war, Mr. Jones farmed in Alberta and continued to fly small aircraft. It is believed that he is the only person who ever flew the same aircraft, a Tiger Moth he purchased after the war, continually for seventy years.
