“Abby’s poetry goosebumps my deepest deepest breath.” —Andrea Gibson
For the deep thinkers who feel just as deeply. For the single dreamers surviving the losses, and the couples who recall what that was like. For the new parents reading while the baby sleeps. For the wise ones who remember it all like it was yesterday.
Abby's poems span those transformative years. They’re full of heartbreak and heartmend. Tenderness and resilience. The leaps we take, and the clover parachutes that open in the nick of time to soften our landings.

But know me by the heart of my poems. By how I treat others. By the color my cheeks turn when I read at the mic. By the state of my fingernails. Know me by the look in my eyes when I look at my children. By the understanding I show my husband. By my conviction and my temperament. My strengths as well as my flaws. Know me by the sensations that stick with you after you close this book.
