Edward Love Johnson, a veteran of two wars, served for a number of years as a naturalist at the world famous resort hotel, "The Greenbrier," in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. A taxidermist, author, banker and columnist, he served a stint as a public relations director with a circus. He is a former rodeo operator and performer. For more than fifty years, the legends, outdoor articles, animal fiction, and other writings of Johnson have appeared in many outdoor, sports, religious, and farm publications. Now retired, he continues at 95 to write, paint wildlife, garden, and make musical instruments.
