Do you crave a life that finds its fulfillment as an epic masterpiece of God - a life rightly lived as the realization of the Father’s poetic plan? This book is about rhyming life with God’s indigenous design and discovering amplified living by becoming the unique expressive poem God intended for each of us to be. It is about being conformed to the image of Christ and rejecting the subtle temptation to become merely a “footnote” of the culture of this world. With an abiding conviction that no apologies need to be made for drawing man’s attention to God through nature, Steve uses images from creation and nature as well as solid Biblical exposition to reveal the truth of Who God is and what His will is for us - conformity to His indigenous design. Open the pages of this book and begin your journey to a life that rhymes!

Steve Taylor is a pastor, international missionary, adventurer, and author. For years he and his wife Shirley served as career missionaries in the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe and Zambia where they worked among the remote River Tonga tribe. Steve currently serves as Lead Pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church in Pratt, Kansas. Each year under the name of Rock Cry Expeditions he leads a group of volunteers as they return to the Zambezi River Valley for a short-term, deep-bush mission trip. Throughout the year he travels extensively and is a much-in-demand speaker. THE THUNDER POET—Rhyming Life with God’s Indigenous Design is his second book. His previous book is an examination of spiritual warfare based 1 Peter 5:8-11 and is entitled, ALPHA PREDATOR—How to Be Victorious Over Life’s Ultimate Adversary and What to Do When You’re Not. His purpose is to bring honor and acclaim to his Lord by writing about the greatness of God and amplified Christian living that results from a fully surrendered life. He writes with an extensive background of adventure and interaction with some of the wildest animals and locations in God's creation.
