Erin Mehlos is an independent creator from the farflung north woods, and despite appearances never strays south or west for very long. A religious observer of 24 Hour Comics Day, her inclusion in About Comics 24 Hour Comics Day Highlights 2005 anthology technically makes her an Eisner nominee, but saying so sounds kind of jerky and anyway she d much rather have an Eisner nomination for something like Hell s Corners, Next Town Over, or DRAWMORE INC s first Nobodies anthology, which look a lot nicer. She remains in the frozen north, specifically Wisconsin, with her husband and brand new son.
