Dean Frank Lappi was born in Virginia, Minnesota in 1968, a place that is part of the well-known Iron Range, where most of the iron ore in the USA is found. In 1996 he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in English and has worked in a number of industries since then as an Information Developer and Web Content Manager.
