Synopsis

Only in America is a collection of satirical columns written by Wayne State College’s most infamous Australian, Alex Osborne. The columns in this book were collected from The Wayne Stater archives, along with several that were too controversial to publish. ‘Only in America’ as a series received an honorable mention in the Nebraska Collegiate Media Association’s Golden Leaf Awards for best series. This book touches on all bases of American life from an Australian perspective, to which “less than 5 percent of readers find funny or even interesting," said in a student’s Facebook status. By collecting these works into a book, one can only hope that 5 percent is an exaggeration.
