Mel has dedicated his life to reaching people with the message of Christ. His passion is to see lives touched with the reality of Jesus Christ, making a lasting impact for the kingdom of God. His journey is one of Grace, and Father God has placed a vision for a place of Restoration for God’s people in Mel’s heart a place called FREEDOM RANCH, and his hope and intent is to glorify Jesus in all that he does. Mel Reed has been involved in ministry since 1994, first with Promise Keepers, then in several local churches. He founded and has served for the past seven years as President of RealMen Ministries, A 501 (3) c- Non-Profit organization dedicated to the development of men and their families. He also serves as President on the Board of Directors for Equip the Nations a missionary outreach to India. He has participated in Wild at Heart boot camp, The Quest, and Rugged Faith boot camps, and knows the future of the families, the church, and the nation rest in the hands of godly men lead by a loving God.. He is also a national real estate trainer, personal coach, and President of OPTIMUS Training, an international corporate training company. Mel resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas with his best friend and bride of 30+ years Maureen, is dad to five kids, and feels no greater honor than to be called “Papa” by his ten grandchildren.
