Rodney Riesel, long-time resident of Herkimer, NY, was a husband, father of three, and established contractor when he began a career in writing. Being an avid Jimmy Buffett fan as well as his love for the beach, it was no surprise that Rodney's first novel, "Sleeping Dogs Lie," and it's sequel, "Ocean Floors," took place in Key West, Fl. However, it was his yearly vacations to Myrtle Beach, SC that inspired his newest mystery, "North Murder Beach."
