James C. Molet's debut novel follows the struggle of one young man as he seeks to secure his financial future in a system that constantly applies downward force and battles a drug dealer bent on his absolute destruction. In the heart of Milwaukee, Marcus dreams of attending college - minus the scourge of debt - and building a firm financial foundation. Through misfortune he crosses paths with Caine, a would be drug lord from Chicago who has relocated to the Cream City to build an empire. His name - derived from cocaine - was earned in Chicago, where he cut his teeth in the drug game and in a mere four years, had become the largest cocaine dealer in the city. When all is said and done, and the snow has settled in the Cream City, only one man will remain standing. Through mystery, imagination and humor, James C. Molet weaves personal finance concepts into a tale of danger, deception and avarice.

James C. Molet retired in 2005 after serving 21 years in the United States Army. During the latter part of his career, his interest in personal finance was piqued based on his experiences and observations of the way most Americans plan - or more accurately, fail to plan - for retirement and the difficulty many face in starting the process; and understanding key factors and philosophies. His first book, "RENDEZVOUS WITH RETIREMENT: A Guide to Getting Fiscally Fit," serves as a personal reflection of his experiences on the road to fiscal fitness and provides detailed guidance in preparing for a successful retirement. James holds an MBA from Wayland Baptist University.
