Jim Burgett is the coauthor of two best-selling books for administrators: What Every Superintendent and Principal Needs to Know and The Perfect School, both with Max McGee and Jim Rosborg. He is also the author of Teachers Change Lives 24/7 and The Art of School Boarding as well as the coauthor, with Brian Schwartz, of Finding Middle Ground in K-12 Education: Balancing Best Practices and the Law. Jim speaks nationwide. In his work with many administrator and teacher organizations he provides professional development in the form of academies, video seminars, keynote presentations, and workshops. Jim has keynoted at many of the largest educational conferences in the country, as well as at school districts every-where. Jim taught in elementary, middle, and high school and served as principal and superintendent at every level.
