Jane Hill Purtle grew up in East Texas and on the Gulf Coast, taught English for many years and had a couple of other careers, including retirement. Now in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she continues her search through the stories of her own life and the lives of others as she circles back to her beginning, knowing that "the way forward is the way back."
