Abigail Carbone wrote this when she was a senior at Haverhill High School in Haverhill, Massachusetts. She has always been interested in science, but since her diagnosis has become engrossed in wanting to help people, through science. Working to find treatments or cures for other syndromes, or delving deeper into lysosomal storage disorders, she wants to give back. She is currently in college in California.
