Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Kevin Trent and his best friend Arthur Falchor had few prospects for their future, living in a safe city in the wartorn kingdom of Aurana. But when Kevin finds a shard of metal and returns it to the man who dropped it, he discovers that man is a god who is stranded in the mortal realm. Seeking Kevin's help to get home, the god leads Kevin to the war front to find the Sword of Purity, a powerful divine weapon to which the shard belongs. While there, Arthur is kidnapped by his father, who unbeknownst to him rules the kingdom of Desolunar and is waging war on Aurana, intent on conquering the entire realm. With only the help of the sword, an emotionless sorceress, and her father, the young Kevin must now figure out how to unite the kingdoms against Desolunar if he is to rescue his best friend, help the god get home, and save his homeland from annihilation. Beware, all who know this prophecy, for the conquest of the realms has already begun...

Conquest of the Realms is the first novel by Timothy Heath, and the first in The Conquest series. Originally self-published in 2013, it has been rewritten and re-published in 2025.
