While Louisiana was Jamie Sloan’s childhood home — she grew up as a “Quarter Baby” in New Orleans — she spent many of her formative years in Colorado and currently lives in Oregon. She is an active horticulturalist who continues to write and travel, incorporating her appetites for music and food into her weekly community radio broadcasts, where she serves up a tasty blend of songs to hungry fans.
