R. Manolakas is a physician living in south Orange County, California. The author has worked in medical investigations for the government so he is used to the ways of bureaucracies, which was helpful in writing his book, the first draft of which was completed in early 2013. While writing the novel, an attempt was made to use a visual style and construct it in scenes, with dynamic action and character development, as can be seen in good movies.
