Synopsis

A sunny golf game. A single gunshot. A murder that lands Jill Quint in the middle of a deadly mystery.

Dr. Jill Quint, a renowned forensic pathologist and brilliant private investigator, is playing a charity golf match with her close friends in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As they wait to tee off at the eighth hole of the game, an echoing gunshot pierces the air, sending them into a frenzy. Rushing to the previous green, they find a beloved colleague Dr. Doug Easley dead — a bullet wound between his eyes like a third eye blinking out of existence.

Fear and shock course through the group as they search for answers. Who could have done such a heinous act? In a small town where everyone knows everyone, nothing can be taken at face value. Jill and her team must decipher the source of the shot and uncover the motive if they are to bring justice to Dr. Easley's death. Someone wanted him silenced. Someone with access, precision... and a reason worth killing for.

Follow their journey to discover the truth in DEATH ON A GREEN, book 4 of the Jill Quint, MD series.

A propos du livre

Présentation de l'éditeur

Dr. Jill Quint, Forensic Pathologist, is enjoying a vacation with her girlfriends who live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. For the past several days they have visited all of Jill’s favorite spots to eat, play, and shop. Jill’s visit was scheduled to coincide with what they have long called ‘the most entertaining golf match of the year’. It is a charity fund raiser, so entry fees go to a good cause. This golf match has such unique golf contests as, hitting a fake wooden cow in the middle of the fairway - all in good fun. Starting on the fourteenth hole and about seven holes into their golf game as they are waiting to tee off on the third hole, a gunshot rings out. Jill urges her team to drop to the ground. After hearing urgent conversation from the second green and no further gunshots, Jill and the team head for the second green. There they find Dr. Doug Easley with a bullet hole between his eyebrows. Follow Jill and her team as they decipher where the shot rang out from and why. Everyone that they talk to mentions how much they liked the dead guy. Could his murder be linked to another death six months previously? Is it safe for Jill and friends to ever play golf again?
