Synopsis

This book deals with different dispensations and how God dealt with mankind in different periods. It includes some of the major events in the lives of men from Genesis to Revelation covering man’s disobedience, Lord Jesus Christ’s substitutionary death, burial and resurrection, and eternity. God chose Israel as nation for Himself, and called the children of Israel as His people. He is their God. He was angry with them over their unfaithfulness. The “House of Israel” was scattered and the “House of Judah” was taken into captivity. God presented a similitude of their unfaithfulness though the life of Hosea the prophet. God commanded Hosea to marry a woman from among prostitutes. In spite of their unfaithfulness God promised them that He would restore them because of Abrahamic Covenant. The Church is the Chaste virgin of Lord Jesus Christ and not to be confused with Israel. The Church has unique place in the sight of the LORD and is above Israel. The Church has Jews and Gentiles in it. The Church has come into existence when Holy Spirit came into the world and dwelt in the hearts of believers . The Holy Spirit will be taken out from this world when Lord Jesus Christ comes again. The History continues with unbelievers and rebellious children of Israel who will be left behind after the Church is caught up to be with the Lord Jesus Christ for ever and ever.

À propos de l'auteur

Born in a Christian middle class family in India, the author was raised in a Christian background and had education in Christian Institutions. The author is a postgraduate in English language and literature. He accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior when he was a boy of 13. This then was the message that he heard of the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ. This then is the message that he declares that God is light and in Lord Jesus there is no darkness at all. Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent from above to save sinners. Jesus died on the cross bearing our sins upon himself our sin and whosoever confesses his/he sin to Him shall not perish but will have everlasting life. This is the message that the author shares with others in order that they may know the truth. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). We are reconciled unto God through His blood that was shed upon the cross of Calvary. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". John 14:6 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 Salvation is available freely for all who believe in Jesus Christ and confess his/her sins to Him. Today is the day of salvation. "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me" (1 Corinthians 15:10) Please visit http://www.lesliejohn.net/
