Synopsis

1781 - Alwyd's armies are decimated after 20 years of the Crusade's new style of warfare. A thin line of veterans, backed up by green or infirm rhyflers, now form the backbone of most nation's defenses. The Crusade's military prowess and ingenuity have changed the face of Alwyd forever, liberating millions, but at what cost? Across the continent, the First Families feel emboldened to regain lost possessions. But loyalties to those families are now tested at every level of society. Many have tasted freedom, and they are unwilling to give it back. In This Quar's War commanders gather their companies of rhyflers, tractors, wagons and heavy weapon teams to engage in short, sharp actions, the significance of which outweighs the size of the forces involved. Rely on your tactical prowess, trust your Pykpyks, and may the Ancestors look upon you with favor. But above all, preserve the honor of your cause as you wage... This Quar's War!
