Synopsis

Domestic Noir Meets Climate Suspense. Seven friends reunite over a long weekend in a remote Northern California beach house that is teetering on the edge of a cliff. Coastal foraging and eco-diving are on the agenda in order to off-set their carbon footprint.

The former college roommates have made it through two decades of post-grad challenges and more recently, the pandemic and are ready to dive into the future, literally and figuratively.

However, more than one relationship triangle is untangling in this drama of conflicted passions and motives.

"The future is now" is their mantra. But tensions are brewing and something bad is about to happen, not in a decade or more, but in real time.

Capturing the essence of a generation, with themes of friendship, nostalgia and what it means to be an adult, today -Millennials who have grown up in an era of rapid technological change, economic instability, and shifting societal norms.

A bittersweet recognition that life is messy, dreams evolve and adulthood comes with both rewards and regrets. A story that encourages us to embrace the imperfections of life and reconnect with the people who matter most-while also accepting that things won't always go according to plan. And that's okay.

Is this eclectic group ready to find peace with who they've become, even if they're not exactly who they thought they'd be?
