Liz Sartori loves to research stories and events from history, especially the history of the United States and its people. The time of the exploration and adventures of the American West is a favorite. Liz has a Master’s Degree in Education and both she and her fourth grade students loved the lively history of the mountain men. She is also half-way to a master’s in archaeology and anthropology, and loves studying the American Indians and their cultures. For two years Liz "dug up the past" of the ancient ones in the American Southwest, especially enjoying the Indian dancing at Chippewa Pow-wow, seasonal celebrations of the Hopi, and the Fort Bridger Rendezvous.
