Greta has been employed in a corporate setting in the financial industry for over 30 years. While diligently performing her tasks and climbing the corporate ladder Greta had a secret. She was utilizing her gifts and skills in the area of coaching, and financial counseling without realizing this was to be her destiny. In the fall of 2003 Greta was praying and heard the Holy Spirit say you are going to get breast cancer but you are not going to die. She continued praying and thought nothing else about what she’d heard until February 2004 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The Lords forewarning and assurance she would not die gave Greta a different outlook. She laughed with her pastor prior to her surgery to remove the cancer as he stated I don’t know what to pray. God has already said you’re going to be okay. Sidetracked momentarily by breast cancer from 2004-2005 she took time to reflect and wrote two books of poetry, Lord Show Me-Me, and Real Life. Greta’s passion is for people. In 2010 Greta became a Certified Life Coach and Certified Career Coach and in 2012 she became a Certified Financial Counselor. Greta desires for everyone to live up to their God given potential. She has a heart for the wounded and broken especially those that don’t even realize they are broken. Her passion for people has led her to believe her mission on earth can be found in Isaiah 61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. She also believes in Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us . In an abusive marriage for 15 years Greta learned abusive does not have to be physical. In her case it was verbal, emotional, mental and financial. The Pièce de résistance or her aha moment however was when God delivered Greta from fear. Greta lived in fear most of her life. Her marriage was based on fear. Fear that no one else would marry her. She was afraid to speak what was on her mind and act on what she believed. She was afraid of hurting peoples feeling, and that people would become angry with her. Ready for the fear to end God stepped in and placed her in two different situations where she had to be forthcoming and stand up for herself which she did and has never looked back.
