When two loyal friends unlock secrets of the human soul and invent a device that can send people to heaven, and then brings them back, HEAVEN RIDE becomes an instant success. David and JW build Heaven Ride into the most lucrative financial empire the world has ever known. Millions of people take the ride. Then, a tragic flaw in the technology is revealed. Before the inventors can stop the carefully orchestrated momentum, ruthless rivals embark on a campaign of deceit, treachery and betrayal to wrest the Heaven Ride enterprise away from David and JW for their own insidious ambitions. This quandary of science and morality put David and JW in the crosshairs of dangerous men conspiring to attain ultimate power.
"HEAVEN RIDE: SOJOURN OF SOULS is a sci-fi thriller with a fantastic premise, an often gripping tone and characters who hold considerable promise. ... The premise is original, creative and just plain cool... The book also has a dark, foreboding tone that serves the material well."

John J. Eccleston has always considered himself beholden to his right brain. His creativity started early with writing letters to friends he made on out of state hockey tournaments and continued through college in Utah, eventually landing him on Madison Avenue. He has made his living as a marketing consultant and brand journalist for 31 years. He has written thousands of articles, press releases, marketing materials, annual reports and TV, radio and print ads for some of the world’s greatest brands and nonprofits. It was on one of his many transcontinental flights leaning against the plane window high above the clouds and thinking above his deceased mother that sparked his imagination about taking a ride to heaven. Born in Alabama, raised in Utah and after three decades in New York, Eccleston recently settled with his family in Richmond, Va., where he plans to pen the next in a series of Heaven Ride books. Kerry Gleason is a versatile writer who has excelled in journalism, public relations, screenwriting, and now, as a novelist. He wrote the award-winning screenplay, NORTH STAR: THE LIFE OF FREDERICK DOUGLASS, and has published many humor essays, short stories, sports commentaries and business articles. Earlier, he provided marketing expertise to Fortune 500 companies, including Wendy’s landmark “Where’s the Beef?” campaign. Like David Brownington, he was graduated by St. Bonaventure University. A native of Rochester, N.Y., he calls Denver, Colo. his home, where he engages in hiking and daily adventures.
