À propos de l'auteur
Jenny Thompson is a historian and non-profit consultant. She was formerly the Director of Education at the Evanston History Center in Evanston, Illinois. A graduate of San Francisco State University, she has an MA in American Studies from the George Washington University and a PhD in American Studies from the University of Maryland. She has taught courses in American Studies and U.S. history at the University of Maryland and at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her work focuses on twentieth-century American history and culture. She is the author of War Games: Inside the World of 20th-Century War Reenactors (Smithsonian Books, 2004). Her essays have appeared in various anthologies and publications, including the New York Times.
