Son of an Air Force pilot, Ron graduated from the University of Colorado in 1974, and later obtained an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati. His career in finance included stints in corporate banking, corporate treasury and start-up businesses. Ron and his wife, Ellie, lived in New York City, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Houston before settling in their current home in Sonoma County, California. They have two grown children, both successfully launched, and one wonderful grandchild. Ron’s first loves of golf and running are gradually being replaced by biking. Organized bike trips have taken Ron and Ellie to France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Canada and the San Juan Islands.
