As a New York State Certified Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a self-taught expert on being on time, author M. Lauryn Alexander has more than twenty-five years of experience as a classroom teacher in New York City. She has taught all levels of ELL classes in the public high school as well as teaching English to Non-Native Speakers of English on the college level at The City Universityof New York (CUNY) as an ELL Instructor.As a teacher, she observed that most students aren't taught time management skills and as a result, failed to see the importance of punctuality in their daily lives. She incorporated time-management topics into her classroom lesson plans. She discovered that the story in her book, Time & Consequences was the perfect teaching tool for teens, young adults and adults. In 2017, Ms. Alexander published the novel, Time & Consequences.As a bilingual English/Spanish educator, Ms. M.
