In spite of the indisputable fact that the world has witnessed persecutions of Christians in various forms, it is also true that the Church grew in the midst of persecutions. Jesus said “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:10) In the light of the clear consolation Lord Jesus Christ gave that a Christian does not need to fear persecutions, but fear the one who is able to destroy soul and body, a believer does not need to fear persecutors in order to compromise the truth. No man can destroy the soul of a believer however intense persecutions may be. All that a man, who persecutes, can do is to destroy the fleshly body of the persecuted ones; and never the inner man of the believer. Fear the Lord, who can destroy not only body but the soul of a person.

The author, who accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was a boy of 13, was raised in a Christian family and had education in Christian Institutions. He is a postgraduate in English language and literature. After retirement from Indian Railways as Chief Controller, he migrated to USA with family. This then was the message that he heard of the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ. This then is the message that he declares that God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent from above to save sinners. Jesus died on the cross bearing our sins upon Himself. He was buried and God raised Him on the third day. Jesus, after having appeared to many for 40 days ascended to heaven. He will come again. Whosoever confesses his/her sins to Him and believe in heart that God raised Him from the dead will not perish but will have everlasting life. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 I appreciate buyers writing reviews. It helps new buyers.
