À propos de l'auteur

Kay Kinghammer, an accomplished poet and storyteller was one of the original organizers/readers at Red Sky Poetry Theater and at Campus Poets and Writers in Seattle. Kay has been published in multiple anthologies in the US, Canada, Ireland and Germany between 1984 and 2016, including Granny Smith Magazine; Mad Swirl; Prospective – A Journal of Speculation; Electric Windmill Press; Pacific Poetry, and The Inspired Heart. A featured reader at the Whidbey Island Poetry Festival, the Seattle Music and Literary Arts Festival, Bumbershoot, Breadline, a monthly reading series in Seattle and the Fermoy Poetry Festival in County Cork, Ireland. In 2016, Kay Kinghammer will be a featured reader at the Blackwater International Poetry Festival in Ireland. Her first book, Picture This and Then and Then, was published by Festive Frog Press in 1992. Loyal Stone Press released her first full-length collection, Inside the Circus (2013). Her third book, Stolen Kisses, Starlit Caresses (2013) was published by Melinda Cochrane International as was her fourth book, The Wenatchee River Anthology (2014). Recently retired from her position at the University of Washington Kay lives in Seattle and devotes her time to being a full time poet.
