Synopsis

A knee replacement guide written by an experienced Physical Therapist, with a twist - a bonus story told through family conversations, as the matriarch prepares for her surgery. After years of knee pain from the wear and tear associated with osteoarthritis, Granny schedules her surgery and takes a class to learn the exercises or 'lessons' she will need to help her after the surgery. Ms. Linda, a Physical Therapist and Feldenkrais Teacher®, takes Granny through the six lessons that get her back on her feet and into her garden again. All the helpful handout materials she gives Granny are included in the book. This book will help anyone who is looking for knee pain relief, preparing for TKA surgery, has had TKA surgery, or for those who will be caring for someone who has.
