As a single parent, Wendy found herself hovering over her four year old son with a cooking spoon in her hand and her Mother's words coming out of her mouth. She decided to take the first parenting course she could find. Since then, she has taught workshops to over 1,000 parents. Wendy has a Degree which targeted her studies to family and child development. She has worked on a telephone helpline for parents and has published feature articles. Wendy worked as a social worker for many years as well as teaching Early Childhood Education at a college.
