Synopsis

“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.” Ernest Hemmingway Every writer knows that there is more than ink that goes into a story. Many would argue that there is also sweat and tears encased in words. In words, there are hopes and dreams, wants and desires. But there is also blood. Blood and Ink is a collection of 12 stories that takes an intimate look at the craft of writing, each following the theme of blood and ink. Each story follows a different writer or reader as they experience the power of the written word. And what it can take from us.

À propos de l'auteur

Jamieson is a Number One Best Selling Author. But he didn’t used to be. He thinks that is totally awesome and likes to mention it to anyone. Sometimes even those unfortunates at the bus stop. The less said about that, the better. For longer than he has written novels or novellas of the romantic nature, Jamieson was a short story writer. He returns to his roots in this collection, away from the soft flicker of firelight and into something darker. It’s nice to let the creative side out to play every now and again, right?
