Language is so easily learned that children master it in the very early stages of life. The expression of self through language is based in innate instincts, but it must be learned. It can be as simple as adding blocks together to spell words; the only difference is that it consists of adding phonemes together. These phonemes are derived from grunts and calls and are strung together to form words, or Tilogos, which are combined into sound-clichés with definitive meaning.In order to understand the evolution of language from calls and cries into articulate speech, we must first understand how the most basic of guttural sounds was originally used to represent a species-recognizable concept. We must also understand how grammar is structured into past, present and future orientation—Brain Relativity.From there we must strive to understand how these basic sounds are manipulated and strung together to create complex words with varying meaning.At its heart, Tilogos explores the question of how human beings have developed the ability to use simple noises to represent the most complex aspects of our shared world.

Biographie de l'auteur

Sherman P. Bastarache, though untrained in the field of linguistics, has developed an algorithm-based capacity to go from calls and cries in analogue form to modern speech. He has dedicated considerable time to understanding the evolution of language. This is his first book on the subject.
