Synopsis

Mummy Warning! And we’re not talking about parents here. We’re talking about mummies. The ones from Egypt. That are all wrapped in bandages. The, um, dead kind. Well at least they’re supposed to be dead... but there’s always someone who has other ideas. You see, The Book of the Dead has been stolen from Karnak Temple... and someone known only as the Mummy Master is currently plotting to bring an army of Mutant Mummies back to unnatural life... with only the most dishonourable of intentions. And unfortunately for Mini, Jackson, Vee and Rufus ‘A Recipe For Mummified Mutants’ has landed them in Ancient Egypt, smack bang in the middle of this mess, where a determined princess named Neferteeni thinks they are the answer to her prayers. And while everyone (except Jackson) would rather get the heck out of there, it soon becomes clear that the next recipe and the mummy mystery are closely intertwined...

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Tina May does a lot of listening, learning and laughing to collect the stories for Vex Hex. (Vex being short for vexatious. Hex being short for hexalogy which is a story containing six stories. Vexatious? It means annoying and troublesome... oh yes, these stories are simply FULL of trouble!) When she is not busy writing and drawing, she likes sweet treats, bare feet, splashing in puddles and looking for shells at the beach. She also likes to cook healthy food, potter in her garden and spend plenty of time with her favourite four-legged friend. She says balance is important in life – just as it is when riding a rainbow-coloured bike! Obviously Tina LOVES words... especially ones like happy, helpful, hearty and whole. She also likes smiles and traveling country miles!
