JP Bernett is best known for this Reaper Series of books, but this series has inspired most of the darker work in his poetry book, 'RHYMES'. JP has always enjoyed writing poetry but as more of a pastime than anything serious. He held no credentials for writing and didn’t even pass basic level English at school through, what is now known as dyslexia. He has been married to his wife and muse, Beverly Gail Bernett, for eleven years. She was instrumental in bringing JP’s work to the fore, as she is by trade a Radiology Transcriptionist, and now edits his work. JP has three children, Gavin, Louise, and Hunter, who all make him very proud. He also shares Beverly’s passion for hamster’s, there are usually five or six of the little critters in the Bernett household at any one time. A lover of animals, green living, and a drinker of coffee in great amounts. He has for many years been a Goth, and can be seen from time to time in the Goth clubs around Leeds.
