Jan set up Head Heart + Brain consultancy to change the way businesses design and deliver leadership and learning. The consultancy works with clients around the world to apply an understanding of neuroscience and other behavioural sciences to business policy and leadership development. She was one of the first people to gain an academically recognised qualification in the neuroscience of leadership and then went on to gain a masters qualification. She is the driving force behind the organisation's brain-savvy approach. Her breadth of experience in leadership and practical business issues includes running her own successful consulting business and being COO of an investment bank. Jan has created the Success Profile® methodology for talent strategy, the MasterMind® approach to leadership development and the BrainBox HR® online development tool. Jan is author of Brain-savvy HR and Brain-savvy Leading. Jan passionately believes that businesses that apply the principles we are learning from neuroscience will be more successful by engaging, developing and motivating people to execute the business strategy more effectively.
