Synopsis

An adventure across time and a love that follows. From the savage years of the English Civil War to the uncertainties of a post Brexit Britain and a criminal organisation intent on ruling the UK. Two Royalist friends escape from the slaughter of what was know as the Battle of Naseby in 1645 and are pursued by a troop of Roundhead soldiers. Hoping to evade their pursuers they seek sanctuary in a remote castle with only an old man as the single occupant. They finally become trapped in the castle with the Roundheads closing in and with no other way of escape they are forced to make a leap into the unknown. Finding themselves in a world not of their own they are befriended by a father and daughter who take them into their own home. While adapting to their new way of life they witness an attempt to assassinate a national figure and in their effort to prevent it happening come face to face with their original Roundhead pursuers with unexpected consequences. One of the pair finds himself returned to his own time where he finds his family has suffered death and abuse at the hands of some Roundhead soldiers. Full of self-reproach and smouldering with a deep anger he sets out on a mission of vengeance to make the perpetrator suffer for their actions.
