Thornton was born in Birmingham, England in 1971 and is a qualified lawyer. Thornton currently resides in Hereford, UK and writes fiction and non-fiction titles. An interest in politics and a healthy suspicion of authority figures inform much of his work. Thornton owns a boat which is used as frequently as the British weather allows, often with his two children. A member of The Freedom Association and The Law Society of England and Wales.
