Synopsis

This is Mike's second book to be published with Amazon. Some of the poems (approximately seven) were published in his autobiography, M.E. Remembers, and reflects aspects relating to his early years in a poor mining family, being the second of ten children in a very small two bedroom house, through his mining career, army career and extensive travels world-wide. The majority of the poems were written as a result of sleepless nights, thinking about the next stage of his autobiography. As Mike says, if they make you smile, his job is done. Also included are poems by his sister Lynn and Cousin Brian, one or two of these will cause you to shed a tear or two.
