Synopsis

Anforth the raccoon just wants to get home and have a nice cup of tea, but when his uncle's skiff sinks near Cedar Island he stumbles on a beautiful sailboat left behind by the long-vanished humans, who made the creatures of the world intelligent before they disappeared from the Earth.

None of the animals knows what it was that the humans did, or where it was the humans went. They only know it's a pretty peaceful world, at least in the Inner Islands where Anforth and his friends Flutesam the otter and Crow the crow live.

Now Anforth and his friends have to keep their new boat out of the paws of the pirate wolves who are running loose among the islands, and save their peaceful home!

Cedar Island Dreams is a story of friendship and hardship, courage and kindness. It's for people who loved The Wind in the Willows, but wished it had even more mucking about in boats.
