Jacqui Brauman is the principal solicitor and director of Theobald Lawyers Pty Ltd t/a TBA Law. She has a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Accounting, Advanced Diploma in Taxation Law, and a Masters in Applied Law (Wills and Estates). Jacqui also has an accredited specialisation issued to her by the Law Institute of Victoria in the area of Wills and Estates. Jacqui’s primary focus in her wills and estate practice is to make sure young families know the consequences of not undertaking proper planning, and ensuring that their children are adequately protected, both physically and financially. Her message is simple: In a world of uncertainty, we cannot live with our heads in the sand. Instead, we can make sure that we don’t leave a difficult mess behind us if something should happen. Then, hopefully, the plan never has to be implemented. But it’s better to plan for security than try to struggle during grief and loss.
