AK grew up in Canberra on a diet of Dr Who and Blakes Seven. He became hooked on sci-fi when Star Wars hit the cinemas. Spending all his pocket money on movies and books he daydreamed of a space based future. Unfortunately, the daydreams stayed just that, until they disappeared behind the reality of modern life tinged with university, mortgages and car payments. Just recently, when he took a break from his computing job to delve into a new career, the aliens and spaceships returned through the fog like long lost friends.
