This book is about Him who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, created the silver and gold and hidden treasures of the deep, fills the oceans with teeming life, calls forth the wind and weather, and waters the earth with ease. This book is about the Lord of the harvest, the God who never fails on His promise. This book is about a love relationship as the firm foundation from which true financial freedom stems. For Jesus said, "What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world, but loses his soul?" This book is about coming back to the true source of all wisdom, understanding, knowledge, wealth, and power. For without Him (Christ) nothing would exist, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:16-17 KJV. Jesus is the supreme mentor of this universe and perfectly qualified at every level in every area of life, including our finances. This book is about loving God first and foremost and secondly about prospering under his leadership and being supremely fruitful in his service in the kingdom of God on earth. It is a book about Mary (devotion) at the feet of Jesus, before Martha (action) serving at His table. This book is about mentorship at the highest level. It is about obedience to the Word of God and submission to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. It is about knowing the heart of the Father in heaven and serving Him for his glory and our benefit and that of many others. It is a book about Kingdom increase and my part in his great harvest. My part begins at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ and continues in my surrendered life, abiding in the Vine, my attitude of servanthood being "not my will but your will be done" and my position of sonship as an heir of God and joint-heir with Jesus Christ. Roman 8: 15 This book is about coming back to our roots, the beginning, the source; coming back to a place of absolute trust and confidence in the God of mercy, grace, and truth. The One who truly loves us and seeks our good because He is love and He is good. Recognizing He is 100% faithful to his character and consistent in His dealings with us, His creation.
