Lou Elias is in his twentieth year practicing psychotherapy in Fort St. John, B.C. He received his theological training at Bishop's University and spent five years as a missionary on the Quebec/Labrador coast and Magdalen Island. He received his Master of Education from Ottawa University, and Master of Arts in Marital Counselling from St. Paul's University in Ottawa. Lou served as Chaplain of Prince Edward Island military regiment whilst pastor at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Charlottetown and he was also chaplain of the Order of St. Luke. He held a full-time position as teacher in Psychology and World Religion at Algonquin College, Ottawa and he incorporated a native curriculum into the study of world religion under the title "Four Winds: Study in Native Spirituality." Lou is married to Edith Elias and they are both proud of their three children, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
