Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Cheryl B. Evans is an award winning author. Cheryl is a reader and writer of non-fiction books, a lover of flavoured coffee and all things chocolate. She has been happily married to her husband, Jim, for almost twenty- five years. Together, they have raised two wonderful children, a daughter, Mariah, and a transgender son named Jordan. Cheryl is a transgender advocate and believes strongly in protecting the human rights of transgender persons and helping to educating others. Evans received a bronze medal in 2017 for her first book, I Promised Not to Tell, which became the seed for this new Christian book on gender and sexuality.
