James Mackay served as Lord Advocate of Scotland (1979-84) and Lord Chancellor of Great Britain (1987-97). J. Cameron Fraser is a Canadian Scot who lives in Lethbridge, Alberta and serves the Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan congregations of the Christian Reformed Church in several capacities that include administration (as stated clerk), preaching and mentoring. He also works part-time with Streets Alive Mission. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (DMin), Cameron has authored or co-authored four previous books and is a former pastor and magazine editor. He is married with two adult sons and four granddaughters.
