Synopsis

Marine Corporal Ollie Steele is about to be executed by terrorists when he is inexplicably transported to the Plane of Imaginings, the land where dreams and nightmares hail from. A beautiful young woman, Astrina, finds Ollie and takes him back to the quiet village of Donnelly. Ollie is convinced he is hallucinating, but he is still stunned when the villagers recognize him as the first of three exiles prophesized to rescue them from Ba, the foul ruler of the Realm of Nightmares, and his shadowy first knight Scath. Talismen: Return of the Exile is the graphic novel that collects all four issues of the award-nominated webcomic by Barb Jacobs and Steven Philip Jones.

À propos de l'auteur

Barb Jacobs is the series co-creator and worked with Steven Philip Jones on the story and script. She also provided the fantastic art and letters for the series and consequential graphic novel. Barb is also the talent behind the popular and critically acclaimed Xylia Tales. Barbara has also done cover and interior illustrations for the fantasy anthology Fantasy Readers Wanted. Steven Philip Jones has written over sixty graphic novels and comic books including Curious Cases of Sherlock Holmes, the original series Nightlinger and adaptations of Dracula, several H. P. Lovecraft stories, and the 1985 film ReAnimator. Steven is also the author of several novels and nonfiction books including the Clive Cussler Adventures: a Critical Review, Comics Writing: Communicating with Comic Books, King of Harlem, Bushwhackers, The House With The Witch’s Hat, and Henriette Hex.
