Synopsis

As an individual who is locked between rational thinking and emotional beliefs, I often find myself following a path that feels right, even though my logic might sometimes suggest otherwise. Over the years I have come to believe that everything in my personal life has happened for reasons beyond my capabilities to plan accordingly and or in a perfect sequence. Events and actions that I am unable to make sense of during their moments of incidence, but which also have caused major impacts to my own personal life thereafter as well. And even though I might regret some of my actions and approach to certain situations in the past, it is hard to imagine alternative scenarios if the past is ultimately responsible for the present. Often times when I analyze my intended reactions or the decision that I’m about to make around situations at hand, they seem to be logical and straight forward. But at the same time, I can’t help the feelings that no matter what I do, I am somehow destined to. And that I am being utilized to cause events or to deliver messages through my unintentional rationale. Or that I have become part of a scenario to either observe or to partake regardless of potential consequences which I must internalize and live with, for better or worse and no matter the costs. These thoughts have accumulated over the years in my pursuit to find balance, and through my efforts in self-conditioning to have a better awareness over possible outcomes. But no matter how hard I try to control and command my intentions, my direction is dynamically shaped through governing choices available, which in turn only points to deception. And therefore I have come to an unavoidable conclusion, that being in control only applies to moments when a clear path is in sight, and an obvious choice is provided against all odds. Whether we pay attention to our choices or directions in life, we are all individual players destined to play our unique roles in this wonderful and eventful existence… This book was ultimately an effort to bring order to my internal chaotic battles between a rational mindset, and an emotional view over sensible reasons behind our actions. And to essentially understand our path towards possible futures that we either are destined to take, or are bound to ignore. And the final product of my scattered thoughts became an organized approach to shed light on various possibilities. And through a mixture of philosophical dialogs and science fiction stories, I decided to share my personal views of who we are, might be, or might become in a world as is, or was, or might become. Note! A lighter version of this book is published under the title “Enigmatic Thoughts: Paradoxical Existence” offering only the science fiction short stories.
