À propos de l'auteur

Marlene Cooper serves in several music ministries in churches in the Philadelphia area. Additionally, Marlene has served as choral director, worship leader, and vocalist/pianist through music ministries and worship services at various churches throughout the Philadelphia region. Her singing voice has been heard throughout the East Coast, Canada, Caribbean, and Liberia, West Africa. She has also served as a member of a prison ministry, and has applied her professional training to educate children through the Bible and music at various Christian overnight camps and Vacation Bible Schools. She is one of the facilitators for her home church’s Where Do I Go From Here? (WDIGFH) ministry, a support group ministry for those who are separated and divorced. Ms. Cooper’s first book, While in the Valley, shares ten lessons the author experienced while going through her separation and divorce. God taught her valuable lessons that she draws from daily. While in the Valley has ministered to men and women across the United States. Marlene Cooper is also a retired public school teacher from the School District of Philadelphia. During her thirty-four years of service, she not only held the general vocal music teacher position, but later, as computer specialist and music teacher, she taught grades K–8. Ms. Cooper holds music education degrees from Temple University and The King’s College. She is the parent of two adult children, Joy and Mark. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, swimming, and playing tennis. Her greatest desire is to bring more people into the Kingdom of God and help people live a victorious Christian life.
