Imagine the heartache of losing your child and your spouse, one year apart on the exact same day! Add to that the tragedy of losing another close family member a few months later. Wouldn’t you wonder if God cared that you were drowning in a sea of pain? In this riveting sequel to her first book Don’t Forget to Say Your Prayers, Reverend Lydia P. Ford recounts the heartfelt feelings and emotions deriving from her five year journey of three life-changing events: the death of her daughter, Danielle, the death of her husband, Tom, and the death of his older sister Jane. Life—especially the life of a believer is oftentimes filled with raging storms manifested as death, despair, and discouragement. However, as a believer, we can survive and emerge from the trials of life with a greater faith in God, a testimony to share with others, and the victory of knowing that God has a plan for our life. God is able to snatch you out of the midst of tumultuous emotional waves of anger, bitterness, sorrow, fear, and grief. Allow Him to minister to you in your brokenness through this life-changing book with a resounding YES! He does care and He’s right there with you in the midst of your storm.
